1 TBSP butter and 1 TBSP oil 1-2 shallots, chopped, 4 garlic cloves 1/2 tsp salt, 1/2 tsp pepper 1/2 lb mushrooms, chopped 1 pkg hot sausages 1/2 cup white wine 1 jar tomato sauce 1/3 cup parmesan cheese Sprinkle of heavy cream
Saute shallots and garlic in oil and butter. Add mushrooms, salt, and pepper. Saute until softened. Squish sausages out of casings. Add to pan and smush until like ground beef in the pan. Add wine. Simmer until barely there. Add tomato sauce and parmesan cheese, and simmer. Just before serving, add a little cream and stir.
Either stir into 1 lb pasta like rigatoni or put sauce on top of that pasta.
